The Snappy Tomato Pizza corporate headquarters will remain in Burlington alongside the flagship store location. In the United States, it is estimated that an average of 350 slices of pizza are sold every second of every day. Food Business News estimates that 30% of Americans eat pizza at least once a week. Americans spend $46 billion a year on pizza, according to PMQ Pizza Magazine. He will also be the franchisor of the first new franchise of his tenure, now under contract to open in LaGrange later this fall. Gayhart plans to provide overall support, guidance and resources for all forty-four locations across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and New Mexico. The Burlington store, along with Gayhart’s locations in Villa Hills, Richwood, Dry Ridge and Indiana sites in Lawrenceburg and Rising Sun will all become corporate-owned. In the transition, Gayhart will take ownership of the company’s Burlington flagship location. ![]() Gayhart has owned a Snappy Tomato franchise since 1991 and served as an area developer since 2001. He will purchase Snappy Tomato Pizza from its current owner, The Deters Company, for an undisclosed amount. Whether it’s a national chain or a place you’ve never even heard of, there will always be a debate on which place makes the best pizza.Gayhart is a Cincinnati native who now lives in Union. Jet’s only has one location on the Westside, which is located on Delhi pike. Once again Jet’s isn’t a household name, but in my opinion they make a great pizza. They make a tremendous eight corner pizza. While it may not be popular, but it’s definitely worth a try. “You can find some really great deals. We don’t have a wide selection, but we make very good and affordable pizza. Domino’s is a national chain and has multiple locations within the Cincinnati area. After basically reinventing the way they make pizza, it has paid off. Six years ago, Domino’s took heat from customers throughout the US because Domino’s was falling behind it’s competitors. Domino’s is unique in that sprinkle the dough with garlic to add flavor. I then asked what made Domino’s his favorite. “I personally like Domino’s.” Mullen stated. Next, I asked Ross Mullen what place he liked best. It’s a main staple in the Cincinnati area, but recently LaRosa’s has expanded into Dayton and Columbus. LaRosa’s also makes calzones, hoagys, pastas, rondos, soups, salads and more. They offer so much more than strictly pizza. “Without a doubt LaRosa’s personal pan pizza is the best.” He then added “I just like their cheese, I’m not a fan of toppings.” LaRosa’s is a Cincinnati classic. I asked Michael what pizza place he liked best and why. I caught up with a few members of the student body to get their opinion.įirst, I talked with Michael Jansen. Obviously, there are the esteemed pizza chains such as, Papa John’s, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etc., but in Cincinnati we are lucky to have places that are mostly exclusive to the Queen City including LaRosa’s, Trotta’s, Dewey’s, Snappy Tomato and others. In the Greater Cincinnati area there are a plethora of options. Almost everyone loves pizza, but there is always a debate about what place makes pizza best.
